What are the technical differences between stainless steel chains and plastic modular belts and plate chains ?

Stainless steel chains began produced in USA,1938, it uses being in the the first place, filling, heavy industry, glass processing and forest industries.

End of the 70’s, with developing of the technic plastics and plate chains supplant stainless steel chains. There is misperception about stainless steel chains. This misperception becomes because of the lack of knowledge of technical workers in machine industry. It is perceive as solutions all of the problems.
